June First: deviation SPAM

Seriously, I'm just uploading a whole bunchload of crap that I have floating around on my computer. This is stuff from the last six months. Most of it is related, kind of.

In other words, I'm mostly unpacked into my new room in Hong.

AND MY DAD GAVE ME HIS EXTRA CANON REBEL XT AND OMG OMG OMG

It's finally the end of my sophomore year in college - I'm finally starting to take pictures that reflect the ones I see in my head. I'm quite proud of where I've come from and I'm excited about where I'm going.

Speaking of where I'm going..... I got into the Iceland/Norway study abroad trip for next January! I'm super pumped for it.

And speaking of where I've been.... I'll get photos from Antarctica up ASAP. It's from laziness, not a lack of pictures.

Also, YAY SUMMER! Time to get back into that macro photography.
And I also might be converting to digital photography - I'm working out a deal with my dad where I might be able to obtain for myself a Canon Rebel camera body! .....now I just have to afford the lenses. D:

Also, I'm now an official geoscience and norwegain double-major, with a possibility of studying abroad in Iceland. !!!

Isn't that a cool looking thing? I didn't invent it, I blatantly stole it from someone else.

This is an update to let everyone who cares know that I'm alive.... and probably failing Chemistry and Philosophy, but I'm enjoying failing Philosophy because the coolness of the class outweighs the fact that I'm failing the silly essays. I'll get one sooner or later.

Hunh. Been a while since I've posted here, eh? Even a while since I've even submitted a deviation.
Frankly, my art thing is doodles. Some of them are even worth putting up here if I can ever remember when I'm motivated.

Anyhow, the angry angry scientist girl tagged me, and while I kind of hate the "tag people" stuff, I love love love taking surveys.

I'm supposed to post 8 random facts about myself.

1. I'm biologically female but don't believe in mental gender differences. I'm just as much male inside my mind as anyone else. I'm just as much female on the inside of my mind as I am male.

2. The reason I wear a watch is because my parents gave it to me. The reason I wear two bracelets on my other wrist is because I have to balance out the watch. No other reason. I'm kind of OCD about stuff like that - I have to be symmetrical, with the exception of my hair. It took so long to get the courage to part it to the side.

3. I seriously really don't care what I look like to other people. I don't worry about being hot and sweaty or disheveled or asleep. I hate my hair being fluffy not because it looks weird (though I think that's true) but more because it tickles my neck and keeps my head too warm.

4. I love secondhand cigarette smoke. And woodsmoke. And cigarsmoke.

5. I've never had a professional massage or pedicure, though my roommate wants to change that.

6. I work for Campus Safety and bitch about it to everyone but really I totally love it. I don't know if I can ever NOT work with people because helping them feels SO DAMN GOOD. I get a kick out of it. I don't do drugs, I do Campus Safety!

7. I say things and only later will realize how dirty they sound. See last sentence of #6.

8. As confident as I am about life, I suck at starting relationships. I'm either attracted to unavailable people [not bi/les, gay, in a serious relationship] or very very shy. I hate making the first move.
